Build Africa is now part of the Street Child family.
Build Africa has joined forces with Street Child so that together we can help more children get the education they deserve.
Tom Dannatt, Street Child CEO and Founder commented, “I have known of, and respected, Build Africa for a long time. I am thrilled and honoured that they have decided to join Street Child and become part of the fast-growing movement we are developing here: fighting for the rights of children in the world’s toughest places to gain an education. The addition of Build Africa to Street Child is a powerful and strategic expansion of our capability to create impact in East Africa in particular: both for the huge numbers of refugee children desperately needing education support in the region and for the most impoverished local populations. I am certain, as we are already seeing with Children in Crisis and Lessons for Life, that we will achieve more together!”
Andrew White, Chairman of Build Africa and Associate Dean at the Saïd Business School commented, “At Build Africa we are always looking at ways to make our supporters generous donations go as far as possible. By becoming part of Street Child we not only have the clear opportunity to create impact beyond the sum of our parts but by being part of a global charity, we effectively extend Build Africa’s impact much more widely across the African continent.”
