"The feeding programme has had a positive impact in our school. We have seen increase in attendance and enrolment.
"Last season we managed to plant and harvest three bags of maize in September, which was eaten at school. This year as we await the rains, we have seen parents contributing some food from their stores for feeding the children.
"It is always good when pupils eat at school, since they spend more time in school and are able to concentrate in the afternoon lessons.
"We have also had no drop out last year, especially for the girls who are now staying at school. This we partly attribute to the feeding programme."
