Involve your church

Church gathering

Build Africa is currently linked to a number of churches who provide immense support through donations and prayer.

By supporting Build Africa you could help thousands of young people make their way out of poverty.

Excerpt from our recent Harvest Mailing:
I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.” Matthew 25:35
Imagine you turned on the tap and nothing came out? What if you rushed to the shops and found that the shelves were empty, not a bottle of water in sight? You grab a bucket and head for the nearest stream. The dirty water there is dwindling fast, but you scoop it up to quench your raging thirst.
Your children know they shouldn’t drink the water without it being boiled first; but it is the dry season and they are unbearably thirsty. That’s when they drink it and fall sick.

At harvest time we traditionally give thanks for the abundance of nature and for the freedom we enjoy when the harvest has been safely stored. It is also a time when we think of (pray for) those who have no crops to store and nothing to celebrate at harvest time, and largely because of a simple lack of water.

Ways in which your church could help our work:

£25 would buy a kit for a Savings Group, enablling rural communities to save their earnings for school fees or medical care.
£60 would buy seeds and fertiliser to help our schools cultivate gardens which produce food for the children.
£120 would help us install a life-changing water system giving pupils enough water to last them through times of drought.
